Everybody knows that Santa loves cookies and milk, but do you have an extra-special way of laying out his Christmas Eve presentation? Our blogger friend Brandi gave us this easy idea when she showed how she used the Snoopy ceramic from our Snoopy’s Cookie Jar bouquet to treat her daughter to a special Christmas snack.
“I couldn’t stop smiling just thinking about how she would react when she walked in the door and saw the flowers sitting on the counter. I wasn’t disappointed, either. I mean, even I nearly lost it when the flowers were delivered because the arrangement is so darn pretty!”
Brandi made a sweet snack tray for her daughter, laying out gingerbread men and yogurt as a simple twist on the traditional cookies-and-milk pick.
“Children are so easy to please,” Brandi shared, “and especially around the holidays there are so many opportunities to make special moments for them. Whether it’s a cookie jar with their favorite character on it, or a simple treat of yogurt made special with gingerbread man cookies and Christmas sprinkles, keep your eyes open for ways to add sweet memories to your little one’s childhood.”
Brandi encourages her readers to create traditions that can become lifelong rituals for the family and help everyone experience the wonder of Christmas. You can make this a tradition in your own home, gathering together to make cookies for Santa and getting them plated in an extra-special presentation. It’s amazing how something as simple as a cookie jar can open up the opportunity for memory-making in a fun, new way!
